Central Illinois: Urbana, Champaign, and the University of Illinois

 I stayed with my cousin Jean and her Corgi Emmy in Urbana, Illinois

Jean and me having BBQ lunch at Black Dog Smoke & Ale House in Champaign.  Very Tasty!!


Emmy in Jean's back yard.  She's a 2-year old with lots of energy and a vast collection of toys!

Jean took me on a tour of Urbana and the University of Illinois campus.

Graduation ceremonies were held this weekend and a lot of grads with their families were taking photos of the occasion.





Jean and Emmy take daily walks through some of the campus gardens.







A bronze tablet in the library includes my mother's name among the Honor Students of 1945.

    Beautiful pictures of the gardens and buildings. I don't think I ever saw a photo of the Alpha Xi Delta house before.
