Bicycling near Lake Mead: the River Mountains Loop Trail

Today I rode a 34 mile loop starting from Boulder Beach where I'm staying in my trailer.  The River Mountains Loop Trail is beautiful!

I stopped for a break at one of the shade structures after about 20 miles:

Back near Lake Mead you can see how low the water is.  Certain points like the one in this picture were previously islands.  The surface area of the lake today is much smaller than it used to be.
